B.Sc. Economics

A unique course offered by GNDU which makes a very useful combination of highly preferred subjects in the stream of humanities and science too viz.- Mathematics*, Economics and Computer Science. The course is designed to provide thorough knowledge in these areas so as to produce graduates which are ready for absorption in higher courses in any of these disciplines.

*One can opt for Quantitative Techniques instead of Mathematics.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

A graduate in this course is suitable for employment as a school teacher after doing B.Ed. Also eligible for clerical level jobs in banks.

HIGHER EDUCATION OPTIONS

Eligible for admission to B.Ed/ M.Sc. (Economics)/ Maths/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ MCA. One can also join advanced diploma course in Computer Science.

Students with good command over language may join media groups Electronic/Print as business news reporters.
