As per the directives of the Government of Punjab under the Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC), an interactive session on cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset was organised on September 25, 2025, for final-year students of B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Com (FS), and M.Com at SSSS College of Commerce for Women, Amritsar.

The resource person, Mr. Mick Walvisch, Senior Expert from PUM, Netherlands, shared his insights on the Train the Trainer Program in collaboration with PUM. Drawing from over 60 years of experience, he emphasized innovation, teamwork, and confidence as key drivers of entrepreneurial success. He urged students to embrace communication skills, modern marketing tools, and the need for “Next Generation Incubators” to keep pace with changing times.

Twelve student teams presented business ideas ranging from home bakeries and herbal products to digital marketing and salons. Mr. Walvisch encouraged students to refine these ideas with faculty mentorship. He also shared his spiritual experience of visiting the Golden Temple, calling it a source of peace and clarity.

The session was coordinated by Dr. Rajdeep Sohal, Coordinator, Golden Jubilee Centre of Entrepreneurship, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, along with Mrs. Priyanka and Mrs. Monika Chhabra the members from college faculty. Principal Dr. Navdeep Kaur honoured the guest with a token of gratitude.
