An online faculty program titled ‘Paradigm Shift in Commerce Education’ was organized by IQAC of the College on February 12, 2021. Dr. Navdeep Kaur, Principal of the College welcomed the participants and highlighted the significance of vision in teaching profession. She also encouraged the participants to lead a smooth journey of knowledge for the betterment of the society. Dr. Samriti Kapoor, Asst. Prof., Dept. of Commerce was the resource person. She apprised the participants about the emerging trends in Commerce and its allied disciplines. She elaborated the challenges posed by pandemic and pedagogical shift in education. The resource person also shared information regarding the various online tools and techniques of teaching which got popularized during the pandemic period. Commerce faculty from different senior secondary Schools and Colleges attended the program and actively interacted with the resource person during the session. Mrs. Disha Mohan, Govt. School, Shivala Road gave positive feedback & appreciated efforts of the College for spreading awareness amongst the Commerce faculty regarding the shift in Commerce education. The event coordinated by Dr. Payal and Mrs. Jaskiranjit Kaur was highly appreciated by the participants for freshening up their knowledge regarding the discipline of Commerce and latest development in the field.
