SSSS College of Commerce for Women, Amritsar organized an online awareness workshop on Sustainable Practices and Mission LIFE for the students and faculty members of the college on June 06, 2023 to celebrate World Environment Day. The workshop was organized under the aegis of MISSION LIFE initiative of Ministry of Environment. Forests and Climate Change. Mr. Samrath Sharma, consultant MGNCRE, Ministry of Education, Government of India was the Key note speaker. The speaker highlighted the striking parameters of MISSION LIFE initiative namely recycling. Reducing Waste, Say NO to Single use Plastic, E Waste Management, Energy and Water Conservation. Principal. Dr. Navdeep kaur appreciated the efforts being made by MGNCRE to promote sustainability in our daily life. Ms. Kawaljit Kaur. Dr. Tina Vohra and Ms. Twinkle Mahajan successfully coordinated the event.
