SSSS College of Commerce for Women, Amritsar organised a Career Counselling session for the students of class 11th and 12th of SSSS Khalsa Sr. Sec. School, Amritsar on March 10, 2022 in Rose Villa. 108 students from the streams of Commerce and humanities attended the session. A team of experts comprising Mrs. Pooja Moonga, head department of Computer science, Dr. Smriti Kapoor Assistant Professor in Commerce, Mrs. Ashmeet Kaur, Assistant Professor in Computer Sciences and Mrs. Ravneet Kaur Assistant Professor in Economics conducted the session. The experts students the need of analysing their strengths in terms of interest, and aptitude for the right selection of the career. The experts also quoted the need to chalk out the career planning, about the changing scenario, increasing competition, new sectors coming up and different career options. A question-answer session was also conducted for resolving the dilemma of the students. Principal, Dr, Navdeep Kaur asked the students to introspect themselves regarding the priorities they have set for their future profession and take the decisions accordingly. Mrs. Kuldeep Kaur, Lecturer in Punjabi thanked the experts for sharing their expertise and preparing the students for making them aware about the different avenues available.
