SSSS College of Commerce for Women Amritsar organized a seminar on Career in Chartered Accountancy on August 21, 2024 in the College Hall Rose Villa. The resource persons CA Shilpa Gupta from ICSI, Amritsar talked in detail about the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Course, and the role, and responsibilities of CA, the procedure and process for enrolling and completing the course, the syllabus plan and the challenges during the journey of becoming CA. During the interactive session, the resource person emphasized on clarity of vision for achieving the target and managing time judiciously. Students’ queries were resolved. About 146 students of first and third semester of B.Com, and B.Com (FS) attended the session. Mrs. Ravneet Arora and Mrs. Monika Chhabra coordinated the event successfully and rated it informative for the students and faculty. Mrs. Moninder Kaur, Ms. Shagun, Ms. Kiranjit Kaur, Dr. Jaspinder Kaur and Mrs. Vijay Laxmi attended the program. Dr. Navdeep Kaur, Principal highly appreciated the resource person and emphasized usefulness of the talk for the CA aspirants.
