Three Days FDP on “Innovations in Teaching and Research”

Internal Quality Assurance Cell of SSSS College of Commerce for Women, Amritsar organized Three Days FDP on “Innovations in Teaching and Research” from April 30 to May 2, 2025, at its campus. During the inaugural ceremony, Principal Dr. Navdeep Kaur talked about the challenges in higher education and underscored the need for faculty development programs to mentor and support educators, helping them navigate evolving demands and rekindle their enthusiasm and passion for teaching.  The resource persons Dr. Jaspal Singh (Retd. Professor GNDU, Amritsar), Dr Satinder Kumar (School of Management Studies, Punjabi University Patiala) and Dr. Dilpreet Kaur (UBS, GNDU, Amritsar), talked on the themes ‘Becoming Antifragile in Education’, ‘How to Write a Quality Research paper and Use AI for Research’ and ‘Research Integrity:Ethics, Authenticity and Avoiding Plagiarism’ respectively.  At the end of each session the queries of the participants were also resolved. FDP was attended by around 40 participants. Dr. Samriti Kapoor and Mrs. Isha Arora coordinated the event successfully.
