The Department of Computer Science at SSSS College of Commerce for Women, Amritsar, successfully organized an engaging and innovative Tech Fest on April 9, 2026. The primary objective of the fest was to foster creativity, highlight technical expertise, and promote a spirit of healthy competition among students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments, reflecting a strong interest in technological advancement and collaborative learning.
The fest featured three major competitions—Catch the Bug, Hands on Keyboard, and Logic Whirlpool—each designed to test participants’ problem-solving abilities, coding skills, and logical thinking. Catch the Bug focused on identifying and fixing errors in code and was supervised by Ms. Gurleen Kaur and Ms. Shagun. Hands on Keyboard evaluated participants’ coding speed and accuracy under the guidance of Mrs. Monika Shahi and Ms. Kawaljit Kaur. Logic Whirlpool challenged students’ analytical and logical thinking skills and was successfully conducted by by Mrs. Ashmeet Kaur and Ms. Kiranjit Kaur.
