A short course on Business Ethics under the IKS framework was organized for final-year BBA students of the college. The program featured a curriculum centered on ethical practices in business as interpreted through various religious perspectives. It aimed to provide students with a deeper understanding of the relevance of these principles in contemporary business and entrepreneurial environments. The primary objective of the course was to help students explore both the “why” and “how” behind ethical practices in professional settings. It also introduced key aspects of the Indian Knowledge System, emphasizing its continued importance in today’s world. Through discussions on promoting and applying this knowledge system, students were encouraged to think critically about integrating traditional values with modern technology to preserve cultural heritage and broaden their global perspective. A total of 34 students participated in the course. Their understanding was assessed through an online quiz at the end of the program. Certificates were awarded to those who successfully passed the online quiz assessment. Overall, the course enabled students to develop a stronger appreciation for the role of ethics in business, particularly in relation to cultural and spiritual values. Mrs. Vijay Laxmi and Ms. Gurleen Kaur coordinated the program.
