Sant Singh Sukha Singh (SSSS) College of Commerce for Women, Amritsar celebrated its 34th Foundation Day on September 1, 2026, with great devotion and enthusiasm.
Continuing the tradition, a Bhog ceremony of the Sehaj Path was held. The students and faculty members recited shabad kirtan with spiritual fervour, performed Ardas and recited the Hukamnama, creating a peaceful and devotional atmosphere.
Addressing the gathering, Director S. Jagdish Singh Ji reflected on the college’s 33 years of dedication and perseverance. He congratulated and encouraged the students to follow Guru Sahib’s teachings in their daily lives. He emphasized relevance of the spiritual, moral and discipline values that create inner peace. Principal Ms. Harpreet Kaur Uppal congratulated and highlighted that the institutions are known by the excellent attainments of its students.
Students and faculty members of various competitions were honoured. Special recognition was extended to Gurmat Sewa volunteers and 23 students who achieved merit positions in university examinations.
The event was graced by the presence of S.S.S.S. institution heads and faculty including Dr. Surinder Kaur Walia (OSD Academics), Mrs. Savita Khanna, S. Gurpreet Singh, Mrs. Bajinder Kaur, Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur, Mrs. Amandeep Kaur who extended their best wishes.
The celebration reflected the college’s strong commitment to academic excellence, spiritual values, and holistic development.
