Freshers day was celebrated on June 13, 2019 to welcome the new students joining us for senior secondary in the streams of commerce and humanities.The cultural committee of the college organized a wonderful program comprising varied art forms viz. Poetry,songs,dance and theatre.
The participants constituted the new as well as old Students .The highlight of the event was an act based upon the legendary Composition of Guru Nanak-Japji Sahib .S Jagdish Singh, Director welcomed the new entrants to this 126 year old institution and made them aware of its glorious history and achievements.He narrated a few anecdotes to emphasize the significance of Truth in life and motivated them for truthful living always
Dr. Navdeep Kaur, Principal lauded the efforts of the members of the faculty in organising the events and the participants for their hard work and dedication.She urged the new students to take active part in all the activities of the college and extended her best wishes to them.
Refreshments were served to all and students clicked pictures with their friends and teachers to make it a memorable part of their college life.
