PG Department of The Commerce and Business Administration Department of the College organised a seminar on ‘Banking Operations and Services’ on September 3, 2019. A team comprising Mr. Vijay Thakur, Branch Manager, Mr. Rahul Gupta, Loan officer and Mrs. Payal, Bank Executive from Punjab and Sind Bank were the resource persons. The resource persons explained the various net banking operations and informed the students regarding the various safety tips which every person must keep in mind while making digital payments in order to prevent frauds. They also explained the procedure and documentation required for obtaining education and home loans. The students put their queries regarding various retail banking products and services which the experts handled satisfactorily.185 students of B.Com V, BBA V, B.Com (Hons.) III and V attended the seminar and found it highly useful and informative.
