A webinar was organized by the Department of Commerce on the topic’ Webinar on ‘Financial Literacy – An Overview of Securities Market’ under BSE’s ’Investor Awareness Program’ on November 9, 2021. Mr. Shamsher Singh, a SEBI certified Financial Advisor was the resource person. He explained in a very simple manner regarding the components of stock market and various Dos and DONT’s of investing in securities market. The resource person appraised the participants regarding the Investor’s Grievance Readdress of system and Investor’s Protection Fund created by SEBI for protecting the interests of investors. Around 65 students from semester-I of B.Com and BBA attended this webinar through digital platform ‘ZOOM APP’. It was a good learning experience for all the participants.
