On June 5, 2026, the NSS unit of SSSS College of Commerce for Women celebrated World Environment Day by organizing Poster Making, Slogan Writing, and Best Out of Waste competitions in which 20 students participated to promote environmental awareness among youth. In Poster Making, Harmandeep of BBA First semester secured 1st position, followed by Ms. Satinderbir Kaur of BCA First semester and Ms. Palk Bhatia of B.com First semester in 2nd and 3rd position. Ms. Simerpreet of B.Com FS First semester and Ms. Riya of BCA First Semester won 1st and 2nd positions in Slogan Writing, while Ms. Tanisha of B.Com First Semester secured 1st place in Best Out of Waste. Principal Ms. Harpreet Kaur Uppal appreciated the students for their valuable participation. The event was successfully coordinated by Ms. Mamta Arora and Mrs. Dilpreet Kaur.
